We describe an experimental investigation into the recovery of silver from photographic process wastes by means of a flow-through reactor with a graphite-felt cathode. The effects of the cathode potential on the silver reduction rate and on the faradic efficiency of the process at low silver concentration (10 to 500 mg/dm 3 ) are specifically discussed
