Evaluation of the vascular transit through a transplanted kidney depends on the convolution of the arterial bolus in the renal vasculature. In order to stress the importance of the renal artery, an example where a moderate stenosis resembled allograft rejection is given. Interpretation of flow studies could reveal a stenosis if allograft biopsy is performed at an early stage.
