The current study is based on 454 families with 843 children from two different areas in Western Germany (Marburg and Tfibingen). Only families which have been especially ascertained for these investigations have been taken into account. For the estimation of the gene frequencies 1449 unrelated persons from the areas mentioned above were investigated in addition to the parents of the family material. Our technique follows Spencer et al. (1964).

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 5 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
