Abstract

Knowles' representation theorem for harmonically time-dependent free surface waves on a homogeneous, isotropic elastic half-space is extended to include harmonically time-dependent free processes for thermoelastic surface waves in generalized thermoelasticity of Lord and Shulman and of Green and Lindsay.
