</script>Being a complex process, bone union has been an important subject of research for many years. Experimental island bone transplantation with both arterial and venous pedicles was performed by Strauch1 (1971) and Ostrup2 (1974) and clinical application was successfully carried out in 1975 by Taylor3. In regard to the venous return of the bone graft, many authors considered that its interruption plays a role of promoting bone growth. This chapter reports the results of experimental arterial bone graft of which the venous return was interrupted.
