Athletes who carry out competitive sporting activities often complain of symptoms, especially pain, which in most cases are related to musculoskeletal injuries. However, when the sporting activity involves frequent and repetitive movement of the upper or lower limbs, the same clinical manifestations may be a result of an arterial disease, causing ischemia which is induced by muscular exercise [1].
