Abstract

Bei der Thalliumvergiftung des Menschen kommt es nach Bock et al. [1] zu Hypertonie, Tachykardie und erhohter Ausscheidung von Noradrenalin, Adrenalin und 3-Methoxy-4-hydroxymandelsaure im Harn. Wir untersuchten, ob bei Ratten ahnliche Symptome auftreten. Die LD50 betrug 13, 2 (Konfidenzbereich 11, 5–15, 2) mg/kg Thallium. Nach einmaliger Injektion von 10 mg/kg Thallium als Thallium(I)-sulfat fanden wir innerhalb von 21 Tagen weder Blutdrucksteigerung noch gesteigerte renale Brenzcatechinaminexkretion oder Veranderungen des Amingehaltes von Herz, Gehirn und Nebennieren. Wahrend wiederholter Injektionen von 2, 5 mg/kg dagegen stieg die Noradrenalinausscheidung im Mittel von 71 auf 93 ng/mg Kreatinin signifikant an. Bei einmaliger wie wiederholter Gabe nahm das tagliche Harnvolumen auf das Doppelte zu.
