Abstract

Die Beschaffung uber Elektronische Medien (E-Procurement) ist langst keine Randerscheinung mehr. Aktuelle Zahlen zeigen, dass der Anteil der online beschafften Guter am Gesamtbeschaffungsvolumen stark ansteigt. Bei direkten Materialien stieg der Anteil einer Studie zufolge von 2,9% (3. Quartal 2002) auf 9,4% (4. Quartal 2002). Der Anteil bei indirekten Materialien stieg gar von 1,5 auf 10,5 Prozent (Quelle: www.ecin.de). Vielfaltige Einsparungsmoglichkeiten trugen hierzu bei, von welchen die wichtigsten im folgenden kurz aufgezahlt sind (auch Kleineicken 2002b): Reduktion der Einstandspreise (um ca. 10–25%), Beschaffungsprozesskosten und -zeiten (von durchschnittlich 8,36 auf 2,27 Tage) (Quelle: Aberdeen Group 2001), Reduktion der Lagerkosten (um 20–50%), Personalkosten, Logistikkosten, Senkung der Verwaltungskosten (von 142 US$ auf bis zu 7 US$ (Quelle: Forrester Research)), schneller Return on Investment (ROI) in haufig weniger als einem Jahr, Verbesserung der Informationsversorgung (qualitativ und zeitlich), Neuorganisation und Umverteilung von Personal, Reduktion von Datenerfassungsfehler durch reduzierte Schnittstellen, Intensivierung wichtiger Lieferantenbeziehungen.
