Abstract

In Europa und Nordamerika schiesen Coworking Spaces gegenwartig wie Pilze aus dem Boden. Und wie bei den Pilzen ist die Vielfalt immens, doch verbinden sie trotz aller Unterschiede die Gemeinsamkeiten ihrer Gattung. Welche Gemeinsamkeiten dies sind, wollen wir im Folgenden naher betrachten: Wie funktioniert das Geschaftsmodell Coworking Space? Welche Uberlegungen stecken dahinter? Dazu beleuchten wir seine Kernwerte, seine Entwicklung, die Zusammensetzung von Coworking-Gemeinschaften, die Dienstleistungsangebote, die Vernetzung der Communities sowie die Starken und gegenuber alternativen Arbeitsmodellen.
