Consumption of Alcohol

Abstract

Alcohol consumption in the village was high, as well as conspicuous. Drinking was the outstanding phenomenon I observed in 1968. In fact, the present study grew out of the initial intention to investigate the alcohol consumption of the village. Once started, it soon became clear that heavy drinking was only one indicator of the vast field of stressors and stress indicators to be investigated.
