X-ray angiography had once been considered as the sole method to evaluate blood vessels, and also is an important examination for intracranial neoplasms. As computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used more extensively, the number of X-ray angiography has been reduced dramatically. CT and MRI can provide more valuable diagnostic information than X-ray angiography about tumor location and nature. However, the persentage of negative cases of X-ray angiography is decreasing, the positive cases is increasing. The role of X-ray angiography changed in the CT era.
