Verkehrstelematik in GSM

Abstract

IntraGSM, das integrierte, transeuropaische Verkehrstelematiksystem der Deutschen Telekom Mobilfunk GmbH (DeTeMobil) bildet die Plattform fur eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen, die von der automatischen Gebuhrenerhebung uber Gefahrgutmanagement bis hin zur dynamischen Zielfuhrung reichen. DeTeMobil hat die Einsatzreife des vorgeschlagenen Telematiksystems in zahlreichen Pilotprojekten demonstriert und schon Ende des Jahres sollen Dienste, wie der Kfz-Diebstahlschutz und Pannenruf uber IntraGSM, am Markt eingefuhrt werden. Basierend auf den beiden internationalen Technologiestandards GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) zur Kommunikation und GPS (Global Positioning System) zur satellitengestOtzten Navigation konnen die Telematikanwendungen grenzuberschreitend und flachendeckend in Europa eingesetzt werden.
