Abstract

Wie Egle u. Tauschke (1987) in einer Literaturubersicht feststellen, wird die Moglichkeit, das es sich bei der Alopezie um ein psychosomatisches Krankheitsbild handelt, bereits seit 100 Jahren diskutiert. Obwohl die Atiologie dieses Krankheitsbildes immer noch unvollstandig geklart ist, kann die einseitige Uberbetonung eines einzigen atiologischen Faktors als uberholt gelten. So durfen auch Studien, die psychosoziale und psychodynamische Besonderheiten als pathogenetisch relevant wahrscheinlich machen, nicht zu dem Kurzschlus verleiten, es handele sich bei der Alopezie um eine rein psychogene Erkrankung. Andererseits braucht die Hypothese, das die Alopezie in einem Zusammenhang mit einer Reduzierung der T-Lymphozyten steht, keineswegs gegen eine Interaktion mit pathogenen psychosozialen Faktoren zu sprechen.
