
The place of arthroscopy in sports injuries is not only valuable as a diagnostic aid for an injured knee, but in suitable cases simple surgical procedures through arthroscopy also help in rapid recovery. This paper illustrates the role of arthroscopy as applied to sports injuries following a review of 447 patients seen at the Sports Injuries Clinic during the past 3½ years.
