Abstract

Laparoscopic extramucosal pyloromytomy is an excellent alternative to the classical management of hypertrophic pyloric stenosis. In May 1990 we performed the first laparoscopic pyloromyotomy (Alain, Grousseau 1991a,b). A careful follow-up of our patients demonstrates the advantages of this approach.
