Flexible AC Transmission Systems

Abstract

Mit der kommerziellen Verfugbarkeit leistungselektronischer Komponenten hoher Bemessungsleistung ist deren Anwendung in Anlagen fur die Hoch- und Hochstspannungsseite der elektrischen Energieubertragung in unterschiedlichen Systemausfuhrungen forciert worden. Im Zusammenhang damit entstand das Konzept des Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). In diesen Ubertragungssystemen sind leistungselektronische und andere statisch regelbare Betriebsmittel installiert (FACTS-Elemente), um die Steuerbarkeit und damit Anpassungsfahigkeit zu vergrosern ([13, 14, 28]). Der Einsatz von FACTS-Elementen ermoglicht eine starkere Auslastung bestehender Energieubertragungssysteme – erreichbar ohne platzintensive Zubaumasnahmen – durch anpassungsfahige Leistungsflussregelung, Vergroserung der ubertragbaren Leistung und schnelle Beeinflussung des Spannungsprofils.
