Neoliberalismus und Hegemonie

Abstract

Seit Jahren gibt es eine neokonservativ-neoliberal konzipierte Umstrukturierung des wohlfahrtsstaatlich organisierten Kapitalismus, die viele Linke in kritischer Absicht davon sprechen lasst, dass der Neoliberalismus hegemonial sei. Zweifellos findet eine solche Reorganisation burgerlich-kapitalistischer Verhaltnisse statt: Alle, vom Kleinkind bis zum Rentner, vom Kindergarten uber die Hochschule bis zum Wasserwerk, sollen sich unternehmerisch verhalten, sollen im Wettbewerb die Erstplatzierten und Exzellenten, niemand und nichts darf einfach nur gut sein. Hier soll jedoch gefragt werden, ob es angemessen ist, diese Entwicklung als Ausdruck einer neoliberalen Hegemonie zu begreifen.
