
Eine Supply Chain bildet ein eng verflochtenes Netz aus Lieferanten, Produzenten, Distributoren, Handlern und Kunden, in dem Produkte hergestellt und zu den Abnehmern geliefert werden. Ziel des Supply Chain Management ist es, diese Parteien bestmoglich zu koordinieren. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschaftigt sich mit dem Supply Chain Planning, d.h. mit den vielfaltigen Planungsaufgaben, die in einem solchen Netz auftreten.
