One of the most widely used project performance measures is the “iron triangle” consisting of schedule, cost, and quality at the three vertices. The importance of executing project according to the expected quality level within the assigned budget and time constraints has been recognized since ancient times and it is considered as a significant performance measure of any construction project. Globally, various studies have revealed that road infrastructure contribute to the economic growth. Furthermore, for an optimal economic return, road infrastructure has to be delivered with reduced cost, on time, and in accordance with technical specifications.
