Abstract

Freud bezeichnet in der Arbeit „Zur Einfuhrung des Narzismus“ (1914) damit eine intrapsychische Beurteilungsinstanz narzistischen Ursprungs, unterscheidet die beiden Begriffe aber nicht genau. In „Das Ich und das Es“ (1923) werden „Ichideal“ und „Uberich“ synonym verwendet, hier wird das Ichideal als eine Art Vorlaufer des → Uberich verstanden. Spatere Autoren differenzieren die Begriffe in das Ichideal als fruhe Formation, deren Wurzeln in einer Phase liegen, in der das → Ich noch nicht organisiert ist (Nunberg, 1959: 151) und das daher als eine Art Entwurf des Ichs verstanden werden kann, und in das Begriffspaar Idealich/Uberich, das eine spatere, auch abstraktere Instanz darstellt. Die beiden Begriffe werden heute wohl uberwiegend phanomenologisch verwendet.
