Abstract

Aktuelle philosophische Richtung, die die Positionen der „Moderne“ (Primat der Vernunft) und der Postmoderne (uber die Sprache komme man nicht hinaus, alles sei daher relativ und beliebig, folglich konne man eigentlich gar nichts sagen) uberwinden mochte. Eugene T. Gendlin, als einer ihrer wichtigsten Vertreter, versteht das noch nicht (sprachlich) geformte, korperliche Erleben (→ Experiencing) als uber die Formen (Logik, Sprache) hinausgehend; es tragt zwar → implizit die alten Formen in sich, ist aber immer mehr als diese; dieser „Uberschuβ“ (→ Felt Sense) ist nicht ungeordnet, sondern kann auf wohlgeordnete, aber nicht vorgeformte Weise mit Symbolen (z. B. Worten, Konzepten) interagieren. Daraus ergeben sich nicht-logische, aber dennoch kontinuierliche und nicht-willkurliche Schritte des Denkens, Sprechens und Handelns, die zugleich Heilungsschritte sind.
