
Quality of life is a highly controversial concept as a result of being confused with other closely related concepts such as health and well-being and by being perceived differently throughout history, during someone’s own lifetime, or according to culture. Although the consensual indicators used to consider quality of life are biological, psychological, social, and cultural, there are many others that can be employed to value someone’s life.
