This chapter describes post-concussion syndrome (PCS) using the method of hermeneutic phenomenology. The analysis focuses on three cases of PCS: two National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I and II football players, and a college professor and amateur mountain climber. Each sufferer describes a change to his or her pre-injury personality and lifestyle, and a careful analysis of these stories demonstrates how PCS plays out along horizons of temporality, sociality, and embodiment.
