The inverter is a static converter that provides an AC voltage of adjustable amplitude and frequency from a DC voltage source. Any type of inverter (voltage or current) requires a control technique that depends on the type of machine to be controlled. Mainly, the standard performance makes it possible to evaluate and compare the different techniques of pulse width modulation PWM. The PWM can be reproduced by different widely distinguishable approach, the sinus-triangle method and the spatial vector. In this paper we will present the two control strategies, as well as their simulation in the environment Matlab/Simulink which will allow to evaluate their performance for an inverter fed induction Machine.
