Abstract

En oncologie, la recherche de mutations somatiques a visee theranostique est devenue la regle pour la prescription de certaines therapies ciblees. Dans le cas du cancer colorectal, la recherche des mutations des genes RAS est devenue essentielle pour la decision therapeutique, le statut RAS sauvage etant necessaire pour assurer l’efficacite des anti-EGFR (cetuximab et panitumumab) [1, 2]. De meme, le gefitinib ne peut etre prescrit qu’aux patients presentant une mutation activatrice de l’EGFR dans les cancers bronchiques non a petites cellules [3]. La mise en evidence de nouveaux biomarqueurs joue un role important dans l’evaluation de la reponse aux traitements expliquant la place de plus en plus importante qu’occupe la biologie moleculaire en oncologie. La caracterisation moleculaire des tumeurs permet de predire l’efficacite des therapies ciblees. D’ou la necessite de developper des techniques de detection de plus en plus sensibles, rapides et performantes, l’objectif actuel etant de fournir une therapeutique la plus personnalisee possible, adaptee a chaque type de tumeur et a chaque patient.
