Utilizing a didactical approach, the authors describe the kinetic theory of catalytic reactions and kinetics is related to the molecular properties of the reacting species. The volume opens with a historical overview of how the fields of catalysis and kinetics developed. Subsequent chapters explore the descriptive kinetics of catalytic reactions as well as the statistical thermodynamic concepts of reaction rate theory. The authors apply these concepts and arrive at a microscopic description of catalytic reactions at the molecular level.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 148 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 1% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
