Abstract

This chapter is all about security as it relates to Web applications. I’ll begin by explaining the relationship between Internet Information Server (IIS) and Active Server Pages for .NET (ASP.NET), including information on how to configure your machines more securely for Internet access. I will then discuss how Microsoft eased coding security with a few new technologies and toys.
