Mechanical, physiological, and psychological factors affect the stability of a standing posture of the human body. Broer (1966), Bunn (1955), Hellebrandt (1938), Morehouse and Cooper (1950), and other researchers described the well-balanced posture from many points of view. The purpose of this study was to measure the degree of stability of various standing postures when an external force was applied to the body.
