In the paper an interesting model of the regulation of the environmental R\&D (research and development) projects with perfect and imperfect (asymmetric) information is presented. In the R\&D model the evaluation of projects is based (only) on the completion time. When the project duration is uncertain to the parties, the model is formulated in terms of a completion time limit.
