Abstract The adult chromatic and morphological variations of Coccophagus gossypariae Gahan have been studied. The most significant chromatic variations concern the legs; the morphological variations have involved the antennae and body size. The shape and number of linear sensilla were positively correlated with individual body size, and body size was correlated with the host size. Some biological traits of C. gossypariae (longevity, mating, and oviposition) are elucidated.
