
ebonyjanice (sic) set out to imagine “a revolution that did not cost us our whole spirit, soul, and bodies” in a world in which she believes Black women are “being known for our resistance, and not for our living.” Her resulting text, “All the Black Girls Are Activists: A Fourth‐Wave Womanist Pursuit of Dreams as Radical Resistance,” explores the dreams and humanity of Black women activists in different spaces and encourages those doing the heavy lifting of resistance work to also take time for softness, hope, imagination, and dreams.
