Abstract An 11‐year‐old, entire, male, mixed‐breed dog was presented with a slowly growing right cervical mass evolving over the past 5 years without associated clinical signs. Computed tomography revealed a well‐defined mass arising from the right mandibular salivary gland with extensive fatty inclusions, consistent with a mandibular salivary gland lipomatosis or a sialolipoma. Right sublingual and mandibular sialadenectomy was performed. Histopathological analysis confirmed salivary gland lipomatosis. At the 2‐year follow‐up, no local recurrence was observed.
