ABSTRACT This article shares a teaching tip that helps students actively engage in giving voice to wordless picture books. It begins with a vignette that became the impetus for writing this article. Next, it provides important background information about the benefits of wordless picture books. Then, it describes and illustrates a teaching tip that teachers can use with younger and older readers. It ends with lessons learned and suggestions for moving forward with wordless picture books.
