AbstractAn oscilloscopic method for the rapid determination of the kinetic parameters of an electrode reaction, making use of sine wave current is proposed. The features of the method as compared with the cyclic current step method of Wijnen and Smit are discussed. It is shown that the disturbing effect of the double layer capacity can be accounted for more rigorously in the sine wave case.
