
AbstractFor a long time the attention of many analytical chemists in various countries has been attracted by the problem of studying the composition of small amounts of matter.The development of this interesting and practically important field of analytical chemistry is much indebted to the investigations, carried out by a number of outstanding chemists of our time.Emich, Pregl, Hechtin Austria, and the Russian analystsKorenman, Komarovsky, Tananaev, Malyarovand others, might be mentioned in this connection.
