Cutaneous leukocytoclastic vasculitis following COVID‐19 vaccination

Abstract

AbstractAlthough vaccination against COVID‐19 has been proven generally safe, rare but potentially serious adverse reactions do occur. Cutaneous leukocytoclastic vasculitis is the vasculitis of small vessels. We reported two patients with leukocytoclastic vasculitis who were vaccinated with the ChAdOx1‐S/nCoV‐19 and mRNA‐1273. Both cases were confirmed with a skin biopsy. There was a complete recovery with corticosteroids and both were followed up without any recurrence.
