AbstractThe clinicopathologic features of a case of adenocarcinoma arising in Meckel's diverticulum are described and compared with the 21 cases reported in the literature. The prognosis is generally poor. However, the patient in the present case was alive and well 1.5 years after diagnosis, despite the fact that the lesion had perforated at initial presentation.
