Spectrophotometric Determination of Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) in Multivitamin Preparations

Abstract

A spectrophotometric procedure has been developed for rapid and fairly accurate determination of vitamin B 6 in B complex and multivitamin preparations. Vitamin B 6 is determined by the measurement of difference in absorbance value (Δ A ) in different solvents at 328 mμ.
