In Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set (IFS) theory more than 10 different geometrical interpretations are constructed. In the paper, two (the most popular) of them are discussed. A new -- spherical -- geometrical representation of the IFSs is described. The idea for it was introduced for the first time by \textit{I. Antonov} in [``On a new geometrical interpretation of the intuitionistic fuzzy sets'', Notes IFS 1, No.~1, 29--31 (1995; Zbl 0850.04007)]. A review of the existing norms and metrics defined over IFSs is given and new norms and metrics, generated by the spherical interpretation, are introduced. Their basic properties are studied.
