AbstractMatching as a general decision‐making paradigm in computer vision and image understanding is considered. The object‐growing technique as an “analysis by synthesis” idea elaboration is developed. The technique applied to “geological objects” extraction and identification is described. Computer implementation on the base of production model utilization is suggested. The results of experiments of remote sensing image processing aimed at geological deciphering are presented.
