Abstract

AbstractScreening for cancer has to be carefully organized for maximum effectiveness, and introduced in full understanding of the natural history of the disease. The current state of art for breast, cervix and prostate cancer screening is reviewed, only for breast and cervix are policies of screening in the population justified.
