The oil from aerial parts of Eupatorium pauciflorum H. B. K. obtained by hydrodistillation was analyzed by GC and GC-MS. Twenty-four components, 92.9% of the total, were identified. The compounds α-pinene (16.0%), bicyclogermacrene (14.9%), α-humulene (12.9%) and β-caryophyllene (11.9%) were the most significant.
