Abstract“Property, Real Estate & Development” (MIC: SIC: 6798 NAIC: 525930)Washington Real Estate Investment Trust is a self‐administered, self‐managed, equity real estate investment trust. Co.'s business consists of the ownership and development of income‐producing real properties in the Washington metropolitan area. Co. has five operating segments: office buildings; medical office buildings; retail centers; multifamily properties; and industrial/flex properties. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. owned a portfolio of 89 properties, consisting of 14 retail centers, 25 office properties, 17 medical office properties, 23 industrial/flex properties, 10 multifamily properties encompassing in the aggregate 12.8 million net rentable square feet, and land for development.
