AbstractChemicals (MIC: 11.1 SIC: 2851 NAIC: 325510)PPG Industries is comprised of five reportable business segments: Performance Coatings, Industrial Coatings, Optical and Specialty Materials, Commodity Chemicals and Glass. Within these business segments, Co. has focused resources on industrial, aerospace, packaging, architectural, automotive original and refinish coatings; flat glass, automotive original and replacement glass, and continuous‐strand fiber glass; and chlor‐alkali and specialty chemicals. Co.'s coatings and chemicals businesses operate production facilities around the world. Co.'s principal glass production facilities are in North America and Europe.
