At the start of the fall semester of this year, I was responsible for organizing a faculty development event to help faculty prepare for the upcoming semester. We were going to have a larger keynote on artificial intelligence, and then break into smaller groups for more targeted workshop opportunities, depending on faculty interest and need. The main room for our workshops is an experimental classroom with various forms of seating and configurations. We reserved some classrooms that were not in use for the smaller breakout workshops.
