AbstractThis paper describes the purpose and the structure of the database of confinement improvement modes in helical devices under activities of the International Stellarator/Heliotron Profile Database (ISHPDB). Data are being collected from 4 devices: CHS, LHD, TJ‐II and W7‐AS. This database will include sets of profiles and global data prior to a transition and ones in the fully developed improved mode in the UFILE format, detailed edge profiles and thresholds of the power and the density for the transition (© 2010 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. | selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
