AbstractA method is proposed for the design of band‐pass filters with tunable centre frequency and bandwidth without the need for adjusting the inter‐resonator couplings. This is achieved by cascading a quasi low‐pass filter and a quasi high‐pass filter, while minimizing interaction between the filters without the need for an isolator between the filters. Simulated results are presented. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
