Abstract

AbstractZwei wesentliche Bauarten von Sicherheitsventilen sind zu unterscheiden, und zwar Proportional‐ und Vollhubsicherheitsventile. Federbelastete Vollhubsicherheitsventile für Gase werden im chemischen Apparatebau besonders oft verwendet. Bei hohen Anforderungen an die Dichtheit sind federbelastete Sicherheitsventile mit Zusatzbelastung und gesteuerte Sicherheitsventile vorteilhaft. Bei der Planung verfahrens‐technischen Anlagen ist der Brandfall nur in Sonderfällen zu berücksichtigen, praktisch nur bei Flüssiggasen und bei brennbaren verdichteten Gasen. Bei überkritischer Entspannung entsteht im engsten Strömungsquerschnitt immer Schallgeschwindigkeit, die mit größtmöglicher Schallerzeugung gekoppelt ist. Schallschutzmaßnahmen sind nur in Ausnahmefällen notwendig, da die meisten Sicherheitsventile niemals ansprechen. Wenn für große Sicherheitsventile Sammelleitungen und Schalldämpfer vorgesehen werden, darf dadurch die Funktionssicherheit der Ventile nicht beeinträchtigt werden. Man sollte daher in Zukunft den Forderungen nach sehr geringen Geräuschimmissionen nur so weit entgegenkommen, als die Betriebssicherheit nicht gefährdet wird.
