Direct Contact Latent Heat Storage for Efficiency Enhancement of Heat Pumps

Abstract

AbstractMit einem neuen Konzept zur Speicherung thermischer Energie auf niedrigem und konstantem Temperaturniveau soll solarthermische Energie auch in der Übergangs‐ und Winterzeit effektiv genutzt und zur Steigerung des Wirkungsgrades von Wärmepumpen gespeichert werden. Es wird ein Latentwärmespeicher auf Basis von Salzhydraten vorgestellt, wobei das Salzhydrat einen Schmelzpunkt von 15 °C aufweist und durch Direktkontakt mit einem nicht mischbaren Wärmeträgeröl eine hohe Be‐ und Entladeleistung bei geringer Grädigkeit aufweist. Erste experimentelle Ergebnisse und Anwendungsbeispiele werden diskutiert.
