Abstract

AbstractDie Energiewende stellt in Deutschland einen gewaltigen Umbruch dar und somit alle Marktteilnehmer vor neue Herausforderungen. Durch den zunehmenden Einfluss der fluktuierenden Energiequellen steigt der Bedarf an flexiblen Leistungseinheiten zur Sicherung der Netzstabilität. Daraus ergeben sich im wandelnden Markt neue Chancen zur Erwirtschaftung von Gewinnen, da die heute diskutierten Speichertechnologien nur zum Teil großtechnisch verfügbar und zugleich wirtschaftlich sind. Dieser Artikel diskutiert Möglichkeiten der Wandlung von Strom in Wärme (Power‐to‐Heat) und zeigt, dass durch die Bereitstellung von Regelenergie eine ökonomische Bewirtschaftung möglich ist.
